Playing Santa Claus on “Duck Dynasty”; Predator Becomes Prey on “Viking Chronicles” and All Things Southern on “Big Country Fridays”

DENVER (December 15, 2016) – Viewers will be able to celebrate the holidays alongside the sportsmen and women of Outdoor Channel during the week of December 19–25. Willie’s beard turns white this Christmas when he is asked to be Santa at the local church on Duck Dynasty; Kyle Lamb is taking on coyote in a very innovative way on Viking Chronicles; Craig Morgan is making a few stops on his tour for some hunting excursions; Nick learns a lot about the south while on a hunting trip in Tennessee and classic western film, The Missouri Breaks, ends the Big Country Friday night.

Starting the holiday week, Outdoor Channel gifts viewers with two Christmas-themed episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, it’s Willie’s turn to play Santa Claus at the local church this year but Uncle Si crashes the party and the event goes south in a hurry. Then, the Duck Commander staff are called to perform a nativity play at their church, but rehearsals go far from smoothly. Wednesday, on Viking Chronicles, predator becomes prey under the cover of nightfall as Kyle Lamb and crew enlist cutting edge technology to take down coyotes in Southwest Wyoming.

Big Country Fridays opens with Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors. In this episode, while finishing up a tour on the road, Craig stops in for a couple late season hunts in Ohio and Florida. Then on Nick’s Wild Ride, Nick learns southern tradition in Tennessee’s “Land Between the Lakes” by hunting with hounds in the backwoods, getting lost and found, eating local food and learning to make moonshine. Friday Night at the Movies closes the night with The Missouri Breaks, directed by Arthur Penn. Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson ignite the screen in this rousing story of a wealthy Montana rancher who hires a professional killer to track down a gang of horse thieves.
