NEW BERLIN, WI (February 17, 2015) – Hunting laws and regulations in the United States are vastly different from those of the rain forests in Bolivia. This is precisely the environment Steven Rinella finds himself while walking through the loud and eerie jungles of central Bolivia on the final episode of Sportsman Channel’s three-part MeatEater special. Despite the language barrier, Rinella has developed a rapport with the indigenous tribesmen during several days of hunting and fishing. The goal and challenge is to harvest a bounty large enough to feed the local tribe and end Rinella’s journey on a successful note.

The host often talks and writes about his profound respect for how indigenous people harvest their food by any means necessary. The final episode of his South American adventure offers a vivid ‘A to Z’ account of how local tribesmen hunt and prepare for their collection of local foods. For the most part, Rinella has been a hunting spectator in the jungle thus far on his journey, but this episode may call on his skills.
