Sportsman Channel is Clucking and Gobbling with “Talkin’ Turkey” Special Episodes on February 28 & March 7

America’s Favorite Game Bird Returns with Avian-X TV and Features Two Episodes with Country Music Star Blake Shelton 

New Berlin, WI (February 24, 2015) – Sportsman Channel’s Talkin’ Turkey presented by Avian-X returns for the fourth year just in time to get hunters ready for the spring turkey season. Tune in for all the clucking and gobbling on February 28 at 4 p.m. ET and March 7 at 4 p.m. ET to watch eight hours of non-stop turkey action featuring special episodes of the original series, Avian-X TV, starring Matt Morrett. Additionally, the episodes will feature unique turkey tips brought to viewers by the Avian-X crew.

Viewers won’t want to miss a special episode on February 28 at 7 p.m. ET featuring country music star Blake Shelton along with NASCAR drivers Clint Bowyer and Elliott Sadler turkey hunting with the Avian-X crew. Shelton is featured again on March 7 at 7 p.m. ET as the Avian-X cameras go inside his annual Oklahoma Turkey Camp.

February 28

4 p.m. – Southern Comfort Longbeards – Host Matt Morrett travels to Florida and Alabama to begin the turkey season.

5 p.m. – Snowy Strutters – Join Matt as he finds himself chasing longbeards in the middle of a Kansas snowstorm.

6 p.m. – The Power of Decoys – Matt is in LA…and we ain’t talkin’ Hollywood! Watch the struggles and success as the crew hunts some of the toughest turkeys in the country in Lower Alabama.

7 p.m. – Country Music, NASCAR and Turkey Huntin’ – Join country music star Blake Shelton with Morrett as they sweet talk a bunch of Oklahoma Rios. Then, Blake joins his adrenaline junkie NASCAR buddies Clint Bowyer and Elliott Sadler for some turkey hunting action that is not to be missed.

March 7

4 p.m. – Hillside Thunder Longbeards – Grand National Calling Champion Hunter Wallis and Champion Caller Josh Grossenbacher find themselves in the middle of the action in Pennsylvania and New York.

5 p.m. – The Buckeye Beatdown – Watch the spring turkey woods evolve in northeast Ohio as Gunar Zink and Brian Buurma start the season chasing early season longbeards.

6 p.m. – Longhorn Longbeards – Fred Zink is in the Longhorn State spending time in the turkey woods at the Mossy Oak Rio Round Up.

7 p.m. – Neon Light Longbeards – Welcome back to Blake Shelton’s Oklahoma Turkey Camp, where there is 100 percent chance of good times, lots of laughs and guaranteed #FLOPPAGE.
