DENVER (October 18, 2017) – Zac Brown needs no introduction as a country-music mega star. His fans also know Zac is a foodie who loves to hunt and explore the outdoors. This week on The Fowl Life with Chad Belding, viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at Zac Brown’s Camp Southern Ground. The episode, Mr. Billy, airs exclusively on Outdoor Channel on Saturday, October 21 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
The mission of Camp Southern Ground is to provide extraordinary experiences for children to recognize and magnify their unique inner gifts and recognize others in order to profoundly impact
the world.
In the episode Zac explains: “I like to build things, and I like to build things knowing there’s a higher purpose for them.” The camp aims to transform the lives of kids providing a traditional summer camp experience for kids in need. “In one week you can completely change a kid’s perspective on the world.”
Joining Zac and host Chad Belding is Nashville recording artist Drake White. The episode features campfire performances by both Zac and Drake, in addition to world-class duck hunting in Prairie Wings, Arkansas.
“Guys like Zac and Drake have huge demands on their time so to be able to spend a couple days in camp with them is priceless,” Belding explained. “Walking around Camp Southern Ground with Zac and listenting to him speak so passionately about his vision for the camp and how his entire business is structured to support it is very humbling. I think fans will be blown away when they see this side of Zac Brown.”
