‘Jarrett Edwards Outdoors’ Brings Educational Fishing Action to World Fishing Network on Tuesdays at 8 p.m.

In Jarrett Edwards Outdoors, the emphasis is placed on educating anglers, as well as showing all the action. Edwards fell in love with the outdoors at a young age, particularly with fishing. At 17, he caught a Colorado state record largemouth bass. At 22, he joined the ESPN Bassmaster Top 150 Series, and qualified for the Bassmaster Elite Series at 25, becoming the youngest to ever qualify. At this point he was officially a professional angler. With such a meteoric rise, Jarrett was on top of the fishing world… until he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He took a year away from the tour to battle cancer, and after months of brutal chemotherapy and radiation, he was declared cancer free. With a new lease on life, he uses his platform as a professional fisherman to inspire cancer patients and motivate others through their own tough times.
