DENVER (June 24, 2019) The Brigade: Race to the Hudson presented by Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s has had an immediate impact in its premiere Monday (8 p.m.) time slot on Outdoor Channel. The original series continues to deliver significant increases from the prior four weeks (March 25-April 15), improving its time slot by +92% in households, +144% in total viewers and +50% with Men 25-54.

The Brigade also has experienced a large lift in DVR viewing with usage increasing Live delivery in its premiere Monday time period by +79% in households and +50% with Men 25-54.

DENVER (June 24, 2019) – The Outdoor Writers Association (OWAA) announced their “Excellence in Craft” Awards at the annual convention and dinner on June 23. Outdoor Sportsman Group Publishing’s Fly Fisherman magazine documentary One Path: The Race to Save Mongolia’s Giant Salmonids was recognized with two awards for its in-depth and scenic exploration of Mongolia’s declining giant salmonid population.

Fly Fisherman publisher/editor Ross Purnell hosted and produced the documentary that was recognized with top honors in the TV/Video Contest – Fishing Category, as well as second place recognition in the TV/Video Contest – Conservation or Nature Category for the same title. The award-winning documentary had a total audience reach (broadcast/print/digital/social) of nearly 8 million total viewers from all media platforms.
