DENVER (August 25, 2016) World Fishing Network features the best in pro-anglers who excel in their field and are willing to reveal their tactics to viewers on Wednesday, August 31 beginning
at 8 p.m. ET.

Throwing out the line first for Wednesday’s Secrets of the Pros is Lake Commandos featuring professional fisher, Nicole Jacobs, who travels across the U.S. as a co-angler on the Fishing League Worldwide circuit. Show-host, Steve Pennaz is joined by Jacobs on a natural lake with largemouth bass and a remnant population of smallmouth bass. The goal – catch the most bass of either species. Then, Dave Csanda and Jeremy Smith on Lindner’s Fishing Edge employ advanced electronics to locate and catch huge channel catfish on the Red River between Minnesota and North Dakota.

Next, Captain Dave Chouinard from Simms fishing company, jumps aboard the FlatsClass skiff with Captain C.A. Richardson for a day of catching reds and snook in backcountry. Lastly, Fishing University travels to Lake Jocassee in South Carolina with pro-anglers, Bill Siemantel and Troy Morrow, who utilize renowned SPRO fishing lures.

DENVER (August 25, 2016) – It’s T.T.S. on Sportsman Channel – which could be mistaken as Totally True Sportsman but really means – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday – with jam-packed outdoor content during Realtree Hunting Camp Tuesdays, Thursday Trailblazers and a Saturday showing of The Lindsey Way throughout the week of August 29 – September 4.

First up, Realtree Hunting Camp Tuesdays features Nick Mundt in Realtree’s Monster Bucks, who started out as the cameraman and is now one of the leading faces in the hunting industry. Then, Major League Bowhunter follows Brandon Adams as he struggles with weather and little deer movement while hunting for a giant, early-season Kansas buck.

Thursday Trailblazers features Mark Peterson – in Cabela’s Instinct – hunting in higher elevation for an Altai Ibex in Mongolia. Then, in search of meat and hide, Steven Rinella in MeatEater heads to Wyoming to
trap beaver.

Saturday morning, viewers will join Jeff on his mission in The Lindsey Way to help his wife, Ashley Lindsey, shoot her first deer with a bow – she doesn’t get a chance at just any deer but a huge, late-season buck.

DENVER (August 25, 2016) Outdoor Channel will celebrate with the Robertsons, get energized with the Keefers, click their boot heels together on Friday and “chill” with Lee and Tiffany during the week of August 29 – September 4.

Duck Dynasty continues to reign on Monday evenings with four consecutive episodes. First, Jase builds a new office without Willie’s approval. Then, it’s the beards vs. the beavers when the guys discover their waterline is low due to the semiaquatic rodents. Next, the Robertsons throw a redneck shindig to celebrate Duck Commander’s 40th anniversary. Lastly, Willie Robertson decides to partake of the grape by purchasing a vineyard – without seeing it first. Later in the evening, the Keefer brothers in DROPPED are finally able to replenish their depleted energy with red meat.

Country Friday Nights starts out with Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors trekking through the mountains of New Zealand searching for a bull tahr and listening to the roar of monster Red Stags. Next, Nick’s Wild Ride explores Bowling Green, Kentucky where one of Nick’s dreams comes true – driving his Corvette on a race track. Wrapping up the evening is Friday Night at the Movies airing the 1958 sequel – Return of the Seven – the two remaining members of The Magnificent Seven are sought out to save a small Mexican village where the townsmen have been captured and forced into slave labor. As the week comes to an end, the temperatures drop in Crush with Lee & Tiffany during their hunt for giant bucks in Iowa.

DENVER (August 18, 2016) – Throughout the week of August 22–28, Outdoor Channel offers viewers adrenaline-fueled, stimulating, original outdoor content from clowning around with the Robertsons, a spirited stalk and hunt with the Keefers to following a legendary trail with Nick Hoffman.

Monday evening begins with back-to-back-to-back-to-back episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, the crew becomes preoccupied with experimenting on new duck calls rather than working. Then, Willie pushes the team to meet a tight deadline for a big order. Next, sibling rivalry gets the best of Willie when he skips his child’s career day to play golf with Jase. Lastly, the Robertson boys come up with a wild plan to build a luxurious duck blind in the sky. Later in the evening, DROPPED features the Keefers with lifted spirits as they set out to spot and stalk a herd of caribou.

Thursday evening, Gregg Ritz in Hunt Masters flies deep into the Alaskan bush to chase giant moose in the Brooks Range. On Friday, it’s time to get country! Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors is on the hunt for a deer – muley or whitetail – from the Nebraska Sandhills to central Texas, he’s bound to luck out. Next, Nick’s Wild Ride hunts turkey on his home turf, Kentucky, then explores the legendary “Bourbon Trail” in search of the story and characters behind the legendary liquid. Wrapping up the evening is Friday Night at the Movies airing the 2002 film – Escanaba in da Moonlight – on the eve of hunting season, the macho man in the family must deal with his eldest son’s curse of never having bagged his own deer.

Pros Reveal the Method to their Madness in Tempting Fish to Bite

DENVER (August 11, 2016) World Fishing Network is revealing tips and secrets from professional anglers on Wednesday, August 17 from 8 p.m. ET to 10:30 p.m. ET.

Wednesdays on the network, Secrets of the Pros airs five fresh and thrilling fishing programs. A Treble of Trouble with “Duck Dynasty”; Searching for Cache in “DROPPED” and Keepin’ it Country on Friday Nights

 DENVER (August 11, 2016) – Viewers continue to flock to Outdoor Channel on Monday nights. Viewers will revel in a jungle hunt with Jim Shockey, enjoy a triad of Duck tomfoolery and search along with the Keefers for a supply cache during the week of August 15–21.

Monday evening starts out with Jim Shockey’s UNCHARTED bowhunting for giant buffalo in the misty Paraguayan jungles. Then, the evening continues with a triple-decker of Duck Dynasty. First, the brothers hold a race through the woods to prove their wilderness skills – both teams have a rough time finding their way. Next, the guys take action to wipe out an infestation of beavers with Si’s homemade napalm. Lastly, Jase organizes a family trip to Lake D’Arbonne in Louisiana for Willie’s birthday. Later in the evening, DROPPED features the Keefer brothers using all their energy to make their way downstream in search of their next supply cache. The tide turns as they escape the open tundra and into the heart of moose country.

Friday night means country night! First up, Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors travels from orange groves in Florida to the pines of South Carolina to cattle pastures in Tennessee chasing spring longbeards. Then, Nick’s Wild Ride heads to the Abacos Islands in the Bahamas to free dive for lobsters and explore Bahamian food, drink and lifestyle. Closing out the evening is Friday Night at the Movies airing a 1980 film – Tom Horn – who is a renowned former army scout hired by ranchers to hunt down rustlers. Horn finds himself on trial for the murder of a boy when he carries out his job too well.

Powerhouse Monday Night Programming Strategy Propels Outdoor Channel to Year-over-Year Growth

denver (August 8, 2016)Outdoor Channel has defied the trend of declining television viewing in the United States (down 2% overall vs. 2015)1 to become the No. 2 fastest growing cable network on Monday nights with Adults 18-49 (+223%) and Adults 25-54 (+183%) during the most recent quarter2. The gains are a result of Outdoor Channel’s key strategic programming on Monday nights that have helped propel the growth. The announcement was made today by Outdoor Sportsman Group – Networks CEO and President Jim Liberatore.

Outdoor Channel incorporated a strategy of building an entertaining and adventure-themed Monday night lineup – anchored by Duck Dynasty, acquired in 2016 and given its syndicated cable home on Outdoor Channel.

  • In the first half of 2016 delivered its highest first and second quarter in households in
