Chef Mike Robinson Brings ‘Fishing the Wild’ to Outdoor Channel

New Series Begins Monday, April 18 at 7 p.m. ET During “Taste of the Wild” Block

DENVER (April 11, 2022) – English restaurateur, hunter and adventurous fisherman Mike Robinson is one of Britain's most prominent game chefs, and is featured in the new series Fishing the Wild premiering April 18 at 7 p.m. ET on Outdoor Channel.

Fishing the Wild follows Robinson as he harvests the natural ingredients that make up some of his most famous dishes for his new restaurants "The Elder" and "The Woodsman." He learns and shares the many unique skills and techniques from his wild fishing crew of experts to sustainably catch amazing seafood and fish. As a chef, he also shares professional methods and tips to help viewers at home elevate their wild cooking into truly Michelin-caliber food, both at home and over their campfires.

This series is part of Outdoor Channel’s “Taste of the Wild” block of programming on Mondays, which also features new episodes from WildFed (7:30 p.m. ET) and The Fishmonger (Season Two begins April 18 at 8:30 p.m. ET), plus new series Das Boat (Begins Monday, May 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET).

Robinson co-owns the only pub in Britain with a prestigious Michelin-star and he harvests the natural ingredients that make up some of his most famous dishes. As an expert marksman and deer stalker, Robinson shares the many unique skills and techniques he uses to hunt the game he sustainably manages.
