DENVER (January 18, 2021) – Outdoor Channel wants to feed viewers’ who crave all things wild game with a new prepping and cooking programming block – Taste of the Wild – on Monday nights beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Taste of the Wild offers a mouthwatering lineup of shows: WildFed (7 p.m ET), Dead Meat (7:30 p.m. ET) and MeatEater (8 p.m. ET).

Join hunter and forager, Daniel Vitalis, on a culinary journey through the mountains, woods and waters on Outdoor Channel’s new series, WildFed. Vitalis makes each meal an adventure waiting to be discovered as he and his guests show viewers the gear, techniques and traditions to sustainably hunt, harvest and cook incredible wild foods found everywhere.

For many hunters and gatherers, the adage, “If it is worth killing, it is worth eating” is a life-long value. Saying that, some might shudder when considering dining on some of the “less-desirable” parts but not Scott Leysath, host of the popular television series, Dead Meat. Airing Seasons 1-3, Dead Meat promises even more edgy, outrageous and maybe scary, moments.

MeatEater with Steven Rinella has been a perennial favorite with Outdoor Sportsman Group viewers since its debut eight years ago. As Rinella eloquently puts it, the show is not just about the pursuit of an animal, but who Rinella is as a person and what makes him pursue that animal.
