Greenlandic Adventures on Sportsman Channel’s “Bowhunter TV” Friday, January 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT
January 23, 2014NEW BERLIN, WI (January 23, 2014) – Breathtaking mountains and monstrous glaciers serve as a spectacular backdrop for Curt Wells and friends’ first-ever Greenlandic muskox and caribou hunt on this week’s Bowhunter TV airing exclusively on Sportsman Channel. Wells uses the barren terrain to his advantage in hopes of becoming the first modern bowhunter to take a Greenlandic Caribou. Travel abroad with Wells on Bowhunter TV on Sportsman Channel, Friday, January 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. Catch a sneak peak of this week’s hunt online at Sportsman Channel: http://bit.ly/1f7iHtw
After traveling by land, air and sea, Wells and friends arrive in Greenland. The stakes are high, as Wells attempts to take a muskox and become the first modern bowhunter to take a Greenlandic caribou. “It’s not often one gets to stalk big game with a massive glacier as a backdrop,” said Wells, co-host of Bowhunter TV. “It was a spectacular bowhunting adventure.”
Uncertainty rises as the prey in sight suddenly disappears. But the spontaneity of the hunt is what drives Wells to continue tracking amidst the incredible scenery. “This was one of my favorite stalks of all time,” said Wells. “We definitely were hoping that all of the preparation and travel it took to get there would be worth it in the end.”
