‘HUNT.FISH.FEED.’ CAMPAIGN TO FIGHT HUNGER VISITS PHILADELPHIA AS PART OF NATIONAL TOUR
April 16, 2024Sportsman Channel and Comcast are teaming up to host a Hunt.Fish.Feed. lunch at Veteran’s Multi-Service Center for veterans experiencing homelessness and poverty in the area.
Special Attendees:
- Executive Chef for Hunt.Fish.Feed Chef Paul Comes. Chef Comes has more than thirty-plus years in the kitchen sharing his love for fresh ingredients, wild game, and incorporating close-to-home ingredients as a common cook for venues of volunteerism along the East coast. Hunt.Fish.Feed., created by Sportsman Channel, is a unique outreach program that taps an underutilized food source – game meat and fish donated by sportsmen and women – to feed men, women and children struggling with hunger across America. An average event will utilize about 70 pounds of meat, which can feed nearly 150 people in need.
Menu: Venison Soft Tacos, Coleslaw, Fresh Fruit Salad, Dessert, and Drinks.
Lunch service 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Meal preparations begin at 9 a.m.
