DENVER (November 17, 2016) – With plenty of holiday programming to relish, viewers will have a lot to be thankful for during the week of November 21–27 on Outdoor Channel. Things are heating up in the kitchen with the Duckmen on Duck Dynasty as the men challenge the women to a cook-off; the Ultimate Bush Pilot white water rafts into one of the most beautiful places on Earth; Kyle Lamb faces a dangerous but rewarding challenge on Viking Chronicles; Craig Morgan hunts with NFL star Tyler Eigert of the Cincinnati Bengals; Jim Shockey heads to North Carolina in hopes of finding a black bear and classic western film, Once Upon a Time in the West, closes out the week.
Four episodes of Duck Dynasty begin Thanksgiving week on Outdoor Channel. First, Jase and Si embark on a turkey hunt for the annual Robertson men vs. Robertson women cook-off to create a feast of fresh wild game. Next, it is the night before opening day of duck season, and the men are carrying on their tradition of camping out on the Robertson land. Then, Willie’s refusal to share a batch of imported biltong meat prompts the rest of the guys to try and make their own jerky. Finally, Jase challenges Willie to a hamburger cook-off, but their very different strategies lead to inedible results. Next, on Alaska’s Ultimate Bush Pilots, on a rare day off, Josiah Freeman and his friends white water raft where few have gone before – on top of the massive Knik Glacier in Alaska. Wednesday, on Viking Chronicles, Kyle Lamb takes on the challenge of being dropped into a remote lake in the Togiak wilderness with no resupply in search of giant moose.
Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures kick starts Country Friday Nights with Jim and Eva Shockey heading to North Carolina, home to some of the heaviest and biggest black bears on the planet. Next, on Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors, Tyler Eifert joins Craig in New Zealand for an action-packed hunt for bull tahr and monster tag. Friday Night at the Movies ends the week with Once Upon a Time in the West, the epic story of a mysterious stranger with a harmonica who joins forces with a notorious desperado to protect a beautiful widow from a ruthless assassin working for the railroad.
