DENVER (March 2, 2017) – During the week of March 6–12, Outdoor Channel viewers will experience several exciting adventures as the Strut Commander crew hunts turkeys in Texas on Commander Life; Willie Robertson follows through with his ideas for expanding the company on Duck Dynasty; Michigan Conservation Officers enforce the laws of waterfowl hunting on Wardens presented by Streamlight; Ivan Carter joins an elite capture team to help save African wildlife on Carter’s W.A.R. and the thriller, All is Lost, closes out the week.
Starting the week on Outdoor Channel is Commander Life. In this week’s episode, the Strut Commander crew heads to the hill country of Texas to hunt Rio Grande turkeys. Next up are four episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, an impending visit by Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, to present an award to Duck Commander, throws everyone into chaos. Secondly, Jase, Si and Jep take a field trip to a donut shop and quickly find out who amongst them can eat the most delicious treats. In the night’s third episode, during Duck Commander’s “Casino Night” party for the sale of their five millionth duck call, Si wins the $2,000 grand prize and decides to buy a massage chair for the duck call room. Finally, Willie decides to expand the Duck Commander brand into the winemaking industry and buys a vineyard without ever seeing it. Wardens presented by Streamlight is last on deck for Monday night as the Michigan Conservation Officers canoe silently across the state’s largest game area to enforce the laws of waterfowl hunting. It’s not all work, however, as one officer oversees a class trip to the pheasant field.
Friday night on Carter’s W.A.R., after seeing the disappearance of wildlife in northern Africa, Ivan joins an elite capture team to see how wildlife is captured, bought and sold. This “Wildlife Trade” is a ground-breaking business model that could change the entire face of conservation in Africa. Then, Friday Night at the Movies ends the week with All is Lost, the story about a solo venture in the Indian Ocean becoming a voyage of survival when a man’s yacht collides with a shipping container and starts taking on water.
