Outdoor Channel’s ‘The Brigade: Race to the Hudson’ Makes Immediate Growth Impact with Continued Ratings Success in May

DENVER (June 24, 2019) – The Brigade: Race to the Hudson presented by Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s has had an immediate impact in its premiere Monday (8 p.m.) time slot on Outdoor Channel. The original series continues to deliver significant increases from the prior four weeks (March 25-April 15), improving its time slot by +92% in households, +144% in total viewers and +50% with Men 25-54.
The Brigade also has experienced a large lift in DVR viewing with usage increasing Live delivery in its premiere Monday time period by +79% in households and +50% with Men 25-54.

Measurement Term of the Month: Audience Duplication. Based on recent Comscore data, Outdoor Channel delivers six times, and Sportsman Channel two times, the audience size of Pursuit Channel. A smaller fraction of Outdoor Channel (11%) and Sportsman Channel (39%) viewers also watch Pursuit Channel. By contrast, with Pursuit’s smaller audience, a larger majority of their viewers also watch Outdoor Channel (43%) and Sportsman Channel (55%).
