Rattling in Whitetails on ‘Winchester Deadly Passion’ on Sportsman Channel

DENVER (June 12, 2020) – One of Melissa Bachman’s favorite hunting trips always lands her back to Powder River, Montana, where she successfully rattles in big bucks year-after-year. On this week’s Winchester Deadly Passion airing on Sportsman Channel, Bachman is back with Powder River Outfitters showing how mature bucks will come out of the thick brush to rattling and grunting, if done right. Bachman heads back to the Powder River region of Montana during the week of Thanksgiving, when bucks are “rutted up” and more willing to charge into the sound of rattling antlers. “There’s so much interaction with these deer when rattling them in on the river bottoms; if you are up high looking down during the evenings, you’ll see 100 plus deer,” Bachman shared. “Bringing them in with rattling and grunting is so much fun. I just love it.”
